Google to Allow Multiple Ads from the Same Company in Search Results

Google updated its Unfair Advantage policy on April 14, 2025, giving advertisers a serious visibility boost.

The new policy will allow the same company to show multiple ads on a single search results page—as long as those ads appear in different positions. Previously, this was restricted to ensure a diverse mix of advertisers, but Google says this change is part of a broader test to improve ad performance and user experience.

So, what does this mean for your campaigns?

  • More potential real estate on Google’s first page
  • Better control over messaging across ad slots
  • A chance to increase clicks and conversions—if your budget and strategy are dialed in

Truvolv Insight: This update favors well-structured, high-performing campaigns. If you’re already running Google Ads with us, we’ll be watching this closely and making adjustments where needed.
